The "engine" behind the site you are reading now is Joomla; for an example of a very fully-featured site we have designed take a look at the Idle Foundation; it is a community site with a membership facility giving access to a discussion forum and chatroom with additional features such as private messaging and a repository of user-submitted weblinks.

Joomla is an attractive and powerful website engine which is widely used for thousands of sites from small personal blogs to small business pages, right the way up to corporate presences and complex e-commerce applications. The best bit is, it is free and open source and so we will not charge you anything for it (in fact our web hosting packages come with the option to install it automatically, and it is freely downloadable from the web as well).

We will only charge you for the work involved in making your site unique, developing its own "look and feel" and tweaking it to behave exactly as you require - and that is how we are able to offer extremely reasonable prices for web design.
